hits new heights

- On
Sunday evening a capacity crowd of 12,000 people begged, clapped and
shouted for more after top performances from Bryn, Italian tenor
Andrea Bocelli, and soprano Erin Wall.
- The
Italian tenor was greeted by prolonged applause when he appeared on
stage. The singer was visibly moved by the warm reception he
received.

- "Andrea
told me back stage he has never sung to an audience like this.“
- "The
opera gala on Sunday was a chance for me to sing again with Andrea.
That is always an exhilarating experience."

- Sunday
night's concert was sold out more than two weeks ago. Bryn said this
was the first time this had happened in the festival's six-year
history.
- Many
concert-goers had brought along picnics and some had queued for
hours to be among the first to be allowed into the arena to take
prime spots.

the Faenol after the concert, music lover Colin Williams from
Beaumaris said: "Two
years ago we had Carreras here, and I said then that was the best
show ever in North Wales without any shadow of a doubt. Tonight has
not only equalled it but surpassed it."

music fan, Annie Walsh from Shrewsbury said: "Bryn
and Andrea are two singers at the very top of their profession. It
